Trials and Evaluations of Soteri's Atlassian Apps
You can try any of Soteri’s apps for Atlassian host products for free for 30 days on both Data Center and Cloud.
How to start a trial of a Soteri app
Use the “Try it now” button on any of our Atlassian Marketplace listings to get a 30-day evaluation license. Be sure to select “Data Center” or “Cloud”, depending on which app version you want to try.
You’ll need administrator privileges to install the app. Reference Atlassian’s documentation Installing Marketplace apps for more information.
What an evaluation license includes
30-day trials give you full access to Soteri’s apps. You’ll also have access to Soteri’s support team via our support portal.
Extending a trial / renewing an evaluation license
Evaluation licenses end automatically after 30 days.
On cloud: Atlassian doesn’t typically permit extensions to cloud product evaluations. If you need more time, you can to reach out to the Atlassian Customer Advocate team. They’ll also require approval from Soteri. You can open a ticket in our support portal to explain the situation.
On Data Center: Administrators can generate a new trial license using their my.atlassian.com account. A single organization can generate up to 6 total months of data center evaluation licenses.
Why am I seeing a “You have reached the maximum number of trial licenses” message?
The Atlassian Marketplace allows our customers to extend Data Center app trials up to 5 times, for a total of 6 months of evaluation. If you reach the maximum number of free trials, you’ll see this message.
To continue using the app, you’ll need to purchase a license. Generating more than 6 months of data center evaluation licenses constitutes a violation of our EULA.
Help with trials / evaluations
Billing and licensing for Soteri’s Atlassian apps are handled via the Atlassian Marketplace. Most issues with billing or licensing will have to be handled by Atlassian’s billing and licensing team, including:
Generating new evaluation licenses
Renewing evaluation licenses
Generating quotes or purchase orders
Issues with payments, bills, or refunds
