This page contains information about major updates made to Security for Jira Cloud.

  • - Added Troubleshoot Access to help space administrators find spaces the app cannot access and grant it access. The dashboard flags these spaces as No App Access.

    This update requires an administrator to approve the new app permissions.

  • - Added ability to delete content with findings.

  • - The “Deduplicate scan findings in exports” setting has been deprecated and defaulted to “on”. Row-per-content-version exports are still available via the REST API.

  • - Added ability for app admins to globally review from the security analysis page.

  • - Added ability to label work items with findings.

  • - Added REST API access.

  • - Globally reviewed false positive uploads can now contain reasons and notes.

  • - Added attachment scanning with OCR support.

  • Updated internal regular expressions for the SLACK and EMAIL_ADDRESS rules in order to improve scan performance. If you have either of these rules enabled, your scans will be marked as out of date and require re-running.

  • Added GENERIC_PASSWORD AI false positive filter.

  • Security Analysis UI updates. Robustness updates for Atlassian rate limits during scanning and exports.

  • Added GENERIC_PASSWORD false positive filters.

  • Added custom webhook integration.
